BMW never ceases to amaze us with their vehicle design and performance and with the release of their M4 GTS at the Japanese public at the Tokyo Motor Show, we can certainly see why that is. The BMW M4 GTS is like no other BMW you have seen before. It features bright orange accents, Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, carbon fiber sport seats, light alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, three-point seat belts, a lightweight center console, and pull loops. This beast of a machine is not for the faint-hearted. It comes standard with a 3.0 liter twin turbocharged straight-six cylinder engine, that is cooled using a water injection system, that leads to a higher boost pressure and a drastically improved performance. How much performance you might ask yourself? A whopping 60 horsepower more over the regular M4, resulting in a total of 493 horses and 442 pound-feet of torque.

Though purists might frown at the fact the M4 GTS is only available with a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission, you can rest assured that you will be getting from 0-60 mph in just about 3.8 seconds. BMW has put a lot of time and research in this vehicle and no wonder they have declared that the BMW M4 GTS is the quickest production car they have ever made. There are only 700 planned production units for U.S. sales and the vehicles will retail for around $160,000 USD.
