Beeping Boy Talks to Machines and Will Steal Your Heart in Charming GE Ad

Commercials featuring children are always a hit, but sometimes they get a little unusual or downright strange. The Boy Who Beeps is an amazing example of how an ad showing off an unusual child can avoid becoming hokey and instead teaches a powerful lesson. The story starts with a baby boy who beeps instead of crying. As he grows he only beeps in a language only understandable by machines. His talent grows allowing him to control the most sophisticated equipment in industry and commerce. So where does the human touch come back in?

We watch as the young boy turns his attention and his talent to creating a new friendship and relationship with a young girl. Only at the end is the secret revealed, that his talent is a choice. GE shows us that learning the language of industry does not mean losing the human touch.
