Blending The Past and Present of Anne Frank’s Amsterdam
Amsterdam is not just famous for its 17th-century canals or the Van Gogh Museum but was also home to the famous Anne Frank. Anne Frank, lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, during World War II and wrote a famous diary about her and her family and the horrors that they went through while hiding in a concealed room, in the building her father worked. For those of you familiar with her story, this photographic series features the past and present of Anne Frank’s Amsterdam that are seamlessly blended together. The project is part of an app called Anne’s Amsterdam that serves as a digital scrapbook telling the story of Anne Frank while exploring the city of Amsterdam.
