It looks intimidating, but sounds delicious. Japan’s Burger Kings have start offering a completely black burger that will startle your eyeballs, but will delight the taste buds. The black bun is crated by using bamboo charcoal. The black plastic appearing cheese is created using bamboo charcoal, likely enhancing the flavor with a delightful smokey flavor. The sauce sounds 100% decadent with its mix of onion, garlic, and squid ink. To give the sandwich a little more black bite, Burger King adds extra black pepper to the beef patty.
The black Burger King Burger is named The Kuro and comes in both Pearl and Diamond versions, with the Diamond version tosses in lettuce, tomato, and fresh onions to break up the black appeal. The burger is not scheduled for the US market, but has gone nationwide in Japan.
