It is only a 2.66 meter cube, making it one of the smallest manufactured homes in the world, and one of the coolest. The m-ch, or micro compact homes, were designed as a research project at the Technical University Munich, but have become far more than a concept. These tiny homes have been used in the O2 Student Village on campus and in a variety of other locations. Their small size make them ideal for housing in tight areas, plus their interesting cubical design makes them a favorite. The interior is packed with space saving furniture, appliances, and furnishings that make the tiny space very comfortable and usable. The homes are so small that they can be carried by helicopter to remote locations for mountain safe houses, forestry departments, and others.
The micro compact homes are priced around $52,000, making them very affordable, also. As seen at the O2 Student Village, the homes can be arranged to create fun living communities that are energy and space efficient.
You can order your very own home via m-ch ltd.
