Krispy Kreme UK showed their brethren in the USA that they know how to go big, really big. Krispy Kreme produced a huge box and stuffed it with 2,400 of their delectable glazed donuts, then did the unthinkable. They gave it away. Krispy Kreme dubbed the big box the “Double Hundred Dozen” and offered it in a huge giveaway to promote their Big Occasion catering service. The contest was open to business entrants who tweeted their #BigOccasion along with their company name. Each retweet earned the companies another entry in the contest. The final winner of all 2,400 donuts was @360Resourcing.
We have to wonder, is @360Resourcing now entering a contest to win memberships in Weight Watchers? Krispy Kreme clearly proved they can handle any event from a small family gathering, up to a stadium full of raucous fans.
