A brilliant London-based architecture group called Gensler have thought of an ingenious idea on how to transform London’s abandoned railway system. When London first built this intricate underground railway system, a lot of it ended up being unused and pretty much abandoned. The Gensler group thought that converting this system into dedicated routes for cyclists and pedestrians would not only be a great way to use the tunnels but can also help decongest the streets.
The project titled “The London Underline:, is a great alternative to reduce the growing population cluttering a lot of London’s transportation system. This is truly a great idea and think that if it was to happen can not only make those on bicycles get to their destination quicker but more importantly safer!
