This MIT CityHome Is A House You Control By Waving Your Hand

With the cost of living being extremely high in cities like New York or Boston comes incredible innovation from MIT Media Lab’s Changing Places group, called the CityHome. The CityHome, though quite small makes the most out of its design and makes it feel like your apartment is actually three times as big.

CityHome is an all-in-one solution, a box that virtually sits inside your apartment. The box opens up and reveals a bed, dining room table, kitchen surface, cooking range, closet as well as some practical multi-storage compartments. As if this wasn’t cool enough, through the use of gestures, touch and voice, each element can be called forth from this cube. Though this Star Trek-esk project is only a concept it is totally viable and we want one!
