Almost everyone has looked at the horoscope and wondered if it really has any bearing on real life. How could being born on a specific day mean anything? Scientific researchers in Hungary have uncovered a very unexpected connection between when we are born and our moods and personalities. In a study presented at the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the researchers revealed their study showing the season you were born plays an important role in your risk of developing mood disorders. They even found biochemical evidence showing differences in neurotransmitters depending on the season you were born.
Spring and summer babies become more positive. Autumn children tend to avoid depressive episodes. Winter babies grow up to be less irritable. Does this mean you should start planning your children based on the seasons? Not yet!. This study only took a look at 400 participants, but was intriguing enough that further research is likely to start soon.
