Architect Konrad Wójcik has designed the perfect home for hiding away in the forest. The pine tree shaped house is built using a wooden frame, but stands on a single leg, emulating a tree. The outside is covered with solar panels and also uses a heat pump for heating and cooling. Add in the bio-digester for disposing of human waste, and you have a home that provides its own power and makes almost no impact on nature. The home is large for up to 4 people, making it ideal for young couple or even retirees.
At this time, the design is still a concept, but investors are taking a serious look at the design as a way to build homes in the forest within waling distance of public transportation, with little effect on nature and natural beauty.
