The streets of Paris are coming alive this year with exercise, sports, and invigorating activity thanks to Florian Brillet and Nicolas Lelievre in partnership with ad firm JCDecaux added sports gear to street signs and light posts in highly traveled parts of the city. The Street Sign Sports project adds basketball goals, soccer nets, punching bags, and other gear to the streets to challenge people to become more active and to have fun on the street. The project was approved by the city of Paris.
Street Sign Sports is scheduled to be available for one year, but hopefully the project becomes permanent and begins expanding around the globe. Every city could use more fun and exercise on the streets.
