Looking at this series of photographs from Daniel Zvereff will convince you he manipulated the photographs digitally, but it is not true. The reality is much more fun and fascinating. Daniel purchased rolls of the discontinued Kodak Aerochrome film which was originally produced for the military. The film detects chlorophyll content and changes the greens into hues of violet to uncover items hidden under camouflage. Daniel leveraged the film’s ability to create this series of interesting photographs which showcase the beauty of the Arctic in a unique and fun way.
The use of discontinued film to create amazing effects is on the rise, and we can clearly see why in the works of Daniel Zvereff.
