People continue to flock to the cities to find jobs, opportunity, and entertainment, but space continues to diminish at an even faster rate. One concept being explored in urban environments is called urban infill. In the gaps between buildings, skinny structures are erected which can house a person, family, or families. Danish designers Mateusz Mastalski and Ole Robin Storjohann are two of the leaders of this concept and have designed numerous intriguing ideas to leverage the spaces between buildings.
While the thought of skinny spaces sound unappealing, once you see the designs of Mateusz an Ole Robin, you may be lining up to get your shot at living in one. The spaces are stylish, leverage space saving ideas, and integrate hi-tech to produce very livable spaces in small areas.
