Starvation is a real problem millions of people face every single day and with over 300 million tons of fruits and vegetables being thrown out every year due to a spoiled looking appearance, it seems like the world has a lot to learn.
One of the largest French supermarket chains in France, Intermarché, decided to tackle this problem in a truly creative way. Their idea was to turn these inglorious looking fruits and vegetables into nutritious juices and soups. All this to highlight that even though these fruits and vegetables may not look so great they are just as good and nutritious. Though passer-by’s were reluctant to taste them, the outcome is absolutely incredible!
