Wine is supposed to come in elegant bottles that caress the wine and protect its flavor, at least that is what we thought. Ad agency McCann Vilnius took their clients wine and repackaged it into paint cans. We have to admit the paint cans do have a bit of style, but paint cans? At first, you probably think this is just an advertising stunt to bring attention to a great wine, but that is horribly wrong. The wine is actually renowned for turning peoples mouths and teeth purple. The can illustrates how purple your mouth and teeth may become with each extra glass of wine.
The packaging servers the dual purpose of garnering attention to this popular wine that has some serious side effects. When packaging tells the message loud and clear, it is a success, but still, would you drink wine from a paint can?
