The Minister’s Treehouse created by Minister Horace Burgess and numerous helpers is an astounding feat. The entire treehouse was built from reclaimed materials that encase the original tree and climb towards the sky. The house is so large that in includes a small chapel, worship rooms, and a basketball court. The entire house has 80 rooms. The home is temporarily closed by the Fire Marshall of Tennessee with no re-opening date announced. The home’s construction was inspired by a divine calling when he heard God tell him, “If you build me a treehouse, I’ll get you all the supplies.” The reclaimed supplies kept coming and coming, so Minister Burgess kept building his testament of faith.
If you want further information you can contact the Crossville Chamber of Commerce, or as Minister Burgess recommends, call the Fire Marshall and ask his opinion. (Does God hold grudges?)
